Drug dealer arrested with 104 pitch Yaba in Durgapur

Durgapur Thana police arrested a drug dealer with one hundred and four pitch yaba tablets by conducting special anti-narcotics operation in Durgapur of Netrakona.
The arrested drug dealer is Md Shafiqul Islam alias Rony (28), son of Ahmed Ali of Naluapara village of upazila.
Durgapur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Uttam Chandra Dev confirmed this on Wednesday afternoon. He also said that based on secret information, we got to know that a drug dealer is staying with Yaba tablets for the purpose of selling Yaba in China Mor area of Sadar Union under Durgapur Thana.
On the basis of this news (SI) Md Shahidul Islam along with his allied forces conducted an operation on Tuesday night at China Junction of Durgapur Sadar Union and arrested Md Shafiqul Islam alias Rony son of Ahmed Ali of Naluapara village of the upazila along with one hundred and four pieces of Yaba tablets.
Later, the police filed a case under the Narcotics Control Act as the plaintiff and handed over the accused to the learned court. Later the learned court ordered to send him to jail without granting bail.
