Drug dealer arrested from Daulatdia sex village

The country's largest prostitute village is now a drug sanctuary. Beer, gaza and yaba are being sold in the open here a lot. Sometimes one or two are caught non-stop.
Goalanda Ghat police have arrested two drug dealers with 1 kg and 100 grams of cannabis from this sex village of Daulatdia in Goalanda upazila of Rajbari.
The arrested are Shahidul Isram, 43, son of late Enayet Mallik of Samchu Master's Para village in Ward 5 of Daulatdia Union of Goaland upazila and Chitta Rajbangshi, son of Sudhir Rajbangshi of Ishakhambad village in Savar upazila of Dhaka district.
According to Goaland Ghat police sources, two drug dealers were arrested in front of the house of Rupa Bariwali of Daulatdia sex village last night on the basis of secret information. At that time 1 kg 100 grams of cannabis was recovered from them.
In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Goaland Ghat Police Station Swapan Kumar Majumder said, "We are continuing our regular drive to eradicate drugs in Goaland Upazila. Drug dealer Shahidul and Shri Chitta Rajbangshi have been arrested and sent to Rajbari Jail through a wise court." We will continue this campaign.
