Drug dealer's wife arrested with Yaba in Singair

Singair Thana Police arrested Salahuddin's wife Moshammad Farhana Akhtar Ima (24) after not finding her husband accused of multiple drug cases. Meanwhile, 100 pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered from his possession.
The accused was arrested from his home in Sudakshira village of Jamirtta Union of Singair Upazila on Friday (January 19) around 10 pm. Singair Thana police handed over the drug case to the court on Saturday.
OC of Singair police station Md. Ziarul Islam said through a press release that based on secret information, a raiding party led by Singair police station SI Suman Chakraborty raided the residence of drug dealer Md. Salauddin (35), son of deceased Gias Uddin, in Sudakshira village of Jamirta union of Singair upazila on Friday around 10 pm.
Drug dealer Md Salahuddin fled on sensing the presence of the police. Meanwhile, Mosha Farhana Akhtar Ima (24), wife of drug dealer Md Salauddin, was arrested with 100 pieces of Yaba.
He also said that a case has been filed against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act and handed over to the court. There are multiple drug cases against Salahuddin. Efforts are on to arrest him.
