Drive to prevent soil cutting in Feni Sadar

A drive was conducted in Kazirbagh, Fazilpur and Dhalia unions of Feni Sadar Upazila to prevent soil cutting on Friday .
Members of Bangladesh Ansar Bahini provided assistance during this drive. In this drive, three excavators engaged in illegal soil cutting and two trucks that were causing public nuisance by unplanned soil/sand transportation and destruction of roads were seized from a spot next to Sonapur High School in Kazirbagh, two spots in Fazilpur 4th and 1st wards and a spot in Balua Chowmuhani in Dhalia. Several vehicles were chased but could not be caught.
Since there was no opportunity to bring the excavators, all of them were temporarily rendered useless. Two trucks have been kept in custody.
