Dr Yunus’ visit will ring bell of downfall : Momin Mahadi

Momin Mahadi, Chairman of Natundhara Bangladesh NDB, said that Dr. Yunus’ visit with political leaders, sacrificing national interest, will ring the bell of downfall.
At a time when the government has failed to curb price hikes and stop corruption, such an absurd visit is angering politicians. As soon as Dr. Yunus returns to the country, they will announce programs to accelerate the fall.
He made these remarks at a press conference held on September 7 at 5 PM at Bijoy Milonayoton on Topkhana Road, organized in response to Dr. Yunus’ absurd visit.
On the occasion, he also said that the painful truth is, the nation is being fooled by a series of anti-national decisions, portraying a section of students, youths, and people as conspirators. We believe that almost everyone in the government, which came to power through a movement to eliminate discrimination, is now working to create discrimination. Proof of this is Dr. Yunus’ massive entourage on this US tour.
Among those present at the time were Presidium Member Freedom Fighter Fazlul Haque, Senior Vice Chairman Shanta Farjana, Vice Chairmen Dr. Nurjahan Nira and Mahmud Hasan Taher, Joint Secretaries General Monir Zaman and Wazed Rana, Organizational Secretary Haridas Sarkar, Al Amin Boiragi, Bithi Howlader, Aftab Mondol, Mohammad Abul Matin, Salman Sheikh, and others.
During the program, Momin Mahadi also condemned the act of throwing eggs as being against political etiquette, saying—now dictatorship has returned to the country in a new form through false cases, land grabbing, and corruption.
