Distribution of saplings among students in Dohar

In keeping with the Prime Minister's directive "Plant trees to save the environment", saplings have been distributed among the students in Dhaka's Dohar Upazila under the initiative of Narisha Union Awami League.
On Tuesday afternoon, more than 500 saplings of different varieties were distributed in the field of Narisha Khalpar Government Primary School of the upazila on the initiative of the former general secretary of the union, Md. Kauchar Khalasi.
Narisha Union Ward Awami League President Sirajul Islam Mridha presided over and general secretary Akram Hossain Makhon attended the tree sapling distribution ceremony.
Mayor of Dohar Municipality and senior vice president of Upazila Awami League Md. Almach Uddin, Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad were also present as guests. Gias Uddin Sohag, female vice chairman Shamima Islam, upazila Awami League treasurer. Mohsin Howlader, Doha Upazila Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Borhan Uddin, Upazila Awami League member Yakub Akon, Dhaka District South Volunteer League President Mahbub Bepari, Upazila Krishak League President and heroic freedom fighter Md. Tabarak Bepari, Narisha Union Awami League President Bakhtiar Hossain Lebu, Weekly Nabbangla Publisher Md. Billal Hossain and many others. Later, saplings were planted in the courtyard of the school grounds and distributed among the students of Narisha Khalpar Government Primary School.
