Discussion meeting with students in Barishal to increase road awareness

A discussion meeting was held with students, teachers and parents on the occasion of National Road Safety Day in Barishal with the slogan of students' pledge 'Safe Road for All' on n Monday afternoon.
Organized by the district administration and BRTA in the hall room of Barishal district school under the chairmanship of acting Principal of District School Anita Rani Halder, BRTA divisional director Ziaur Rahman was the main speaker.
Inspector (TI) of Metropolitan Traffic Police Arif Hossain, Inspector (TI) of District Traffic Police Abdur Rahim, Convener of Safe Road Barisal District Committee Professor Ruhul Amin and others were also present.
In the meeting, various plans of the government were presented through projectors to prevent accidents on the roads for people of various professions including students to move carefully on the roads. Besides, emphasis is placed on obeying traffic laws.
Various questions are asked among the students about how to move on the road. Later prizes are distributed among the students who answer the questions correctly.
