Discussion meeting, rally on July Martyrs' Day in Gafargaon

A rally and discussion meeting were organized by the Upazila administration in Gafargaon, Mymensingh to celebrate 'July Martyrs' Day'.
On Wednesday morning, a rally was taken out from the Upazila Parishad premises on the occasion of July Martyrs' Day. Later, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad meeting room on the occasion of July Martyrs' Day.
UNO N.M. Abdullah-al-Mamun presided over and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Amir Salman Rony, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Jamal Uddin, freedom fighter Billal Hossain, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Matiur Rahman, July fighter Mir Siam,
Journalist Kamruzzaman Liton and others spoke at the discussion meeting.
July fighters of Gafargaon were also present at the time.
The speakers paid humble tribute to all the deceased and injured, including Begum Rokeya University student Abu Sayeed, the first martyr of the July Movement. At the end of the discussion meeting, a prayer was held seeking forgiveness for the souls of the martyrs of the July Movement.
