Discussion, prayer held on martyrdom anniv of President Ziaur Rahman in Tarail

A discussion meeting and prayer meeting was held on the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of martyred President Ziaur Rahman in Tarail, Kishoreganj under the initiative of the Tarail BNP Oikya Forum in Dhaka.
The program was organized on Saturday (May 30) afternoon at the open field of Tarail Sadar Bazar. Leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations, including people from different classes and professions, participated in it.
Tarail Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Md. Samir Hossain Saki spoke as the chief guest at the program. Tarail Upazila BNP President Md. Rubel Khandaker and General Secretary Aziz Ahmed Babul were present as special guests.
Tarail Upazila Juba Dal Joint Convener Haji Md. Umar Faruk, President of Tarail Muktijoddha Government College Branch Chhatra Dal Md. Iftekharul Islam Jewel, Chairman candidate in Tarail Sadar Union Parishad election Md. Afzalur Rahman Shamim and other leaders of BNP and allied organizations.
At the discussion meeting, the speakers highlighted various aspects of the political life of martyred President Ziaur Rahman, his contribution during the war of independence and his role in establishing democracy in the country. Later, special prayers and prayers were held seeking the forgiveness of his soul.
At the end of the program, prayers were offered for the prosperity of the country, the nation and the BNP.
