Discussion, Doa Mahfil in Gaibandha on “July 36”

A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil were organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Lawyers' Forum, Gaibandha Bar Unit, on the occasion of “July 36.” Special prayers were offered seeking eternal peace for the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising and for the establishment of peace, democracy, and the rule of law in the country.
The program was held at the auditorium of the Gaibandha Bar Building and was presided over by Advocate Mizanur Rahman Mizan, Public Prosecutor of the District and Sessions Judge Court and Convener of the Swadhinatakami Projonmo.
Senior lawyer of the Nationalist Lawyers' Forum, Gaibandha Bar Unit, Monjur Morshed Babu, along with other leaders, addressed the gathering as keynote speakers.
In their speeches, they highlighted the historical significance of the July Mass Uprising, the role of lawyers in strengthening democracy, and the current political situation of the country.
The speakers emphasized that the legal community must play a more active role in safeguarding citizens' rights, ensuring justice, and upholding the rule of law.
Leaders of the organization described the July Mass Uprising as a significant chapter in the country's political history.
Following the discussion, a special prayer and munajat were conducted for the eternal peace of the martyrs of the July Movement, the recovery of the injured, and the peace and prosperity of the nation.
Lawyers from the district and bar unit, political leaders, distinguished guests, and people from various professions attended the event.
