Discussion, cultural prog on 50th anniv of Bangabandhu's Julio Curie Medal at Kaukhali

In recognition of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's special contribution to peace and order, Bangabandhu was awarded the Julio Curie Medal named after the French scientist Julio Curie by the World Peace Council Conference in 1973.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of receiving the medal, a discussion meeting and cultural program was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting room on the initiative of the upazila administration on Sunday.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Meher Nigar Sultana, Upazila Awami League President Bir Muktijoddha Advocate AKM Abdus Shahid, Upazila Vice Chairman Mridul Ahmed, Sadar Chairman Mostafizur Rahman, Teacher Leader Gautam Das spoke at the event. At this time, among the students of different schools and madrasas Painting and cultural program competitions were held.
At the end of the ceremony, the upazila officials handed over the prizes to the winners.
