The 9 defendants in the case are - Awami League mayoral candidate M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Chief Election Commissioner, Election Commission Secretary, Chittagong Regional Election Officer, City Election Returning Officer, mayoral candidate Abul Mansoor, MA Matin, Khokon Chowdhury, Waheed Murad and Jannatul Islam. .
