
Demand to keep Jashore-6 seat unchanged : BNP forms human chain, submits memo in Keshabpur

Upazila and Municipal BNP formed a human chain in front of Keshabpur Press Club on Sunday demanding that the Jessore-6 parliamentary constituency remain unchanged. Prior to this, BNP leaders submitted a memorandum to the Jessore District Election Office.
After the presentation of the memorandum, the President of the Municipal BNP, former Mayor Abdus Samad Biswas, the General Secretary of the Upazila BNP, Lecturer Abdur Razzak, the Vice President of the Upazila BNP, the Chairman of the Sadar Union Parishad, Lecturer Alauddin Ala, the Organizing Secretary Humayun Kabir Sumon, etc., spoke during the human chain in front of the Keshabpur Press Club in the afternoon. BNP Central Committee Member and Keshabpur Upazila BNP President Alhaj Abul Hossain Azad were present during the presentation of the memorandum.
The speakers said that boundary changes will not be accepted under any circumstances. A planned and fabricated boundary change has been sought to thwart the 11th National Parliament elections, and BNP will be on the streets to confront any kind of evil force along with the people. Meanwhile, Keshabpur Press Club, Keshabpur Banik Society and Puja Udjawan Parishad submitted a memorandum to the Chief Election Commissioner. Keshabpur Press Club and Banik Society submitted a memorandum through the Keshabpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer on Sunday afternoon with the same demand.
