Decorator dies after being hit by train in Rajbari

A decorator businessman died after being hit by the Tungipara Express train in Rajbari's Pansha. The accident took place on Thursday around 9:30 am at Kurrapara railway crossing.

The deceased businessman is Abdur Razzaq Munshi (50), the elder brother of former Commissioner Abdul Alim of Ward No. 5 of Pangsha Municipal Area and the son of Abdul Hai Munsi.

Local eyewitness Ariful Islam said, I stood on the other side of the road with my motorcycle after seeing the train coming. As soon as the train crossed the railway crossing, I heard a loud noise, stopped the car and went ahead to see a motorcyclist who had been hit by the train.

Bystanders reached the spot and found the motorcyclist dead on the spot. And the motorcycle twists and turns. The accident happened on his way home from Pangsha Bazar.

Later, the body was taken home with the help of locals and family members.

In this regard, SI Shahidul of Rajbari Railway Police confirmed the truth of the incident and said that they were going to the spot after receiving the news of the accident.
