Death toll in Gaza hits 21,822

The health ministry in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip said on Sunday at least 21,822 people have been killed in the Palestinian territory since the war with Israel erupted on October 7.
The figure includes 150 deaths over the past 24 hours, a ministry statement said. It added that 56,451 people have been wounded in Gaza since the start of the war.
