DC Sultana Akhtar visits Goalando Upazila

Rajbari Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akhter visited the Ujanchar Union Parishad and Ujanchar Land Office in Goalanda Upazila on Monday at around 11 am and planted a fruit tree sapling in the parishad premises.
Then, Deputy Commissioner and District Superintendent of Police Md. Kamrul Islam visited Goalando Ghat Police Station, Upazila Parishad Office, Upazila Land Office. Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akhter and Police Superintendent K Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nahidur Rahman welcomed them. District Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate (Confidential Branch) Md. Ashiquzzaman was present at the time.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction at seeing the smooth running of all government departments in the upazila.
The Deputy Commissioner also spoke to all officials including the Upazila Executive Officer about the activities being conducted by the UNO office. He provided important guidelines for improving the quality of education.
Earlier, when the Deputy Commissioner visited Goalanda Ghat Police Station, he was welcomed by the Officer-in-Charge of the Police Station, Mohammad Rakibul Islam. A smart police team of the police station saluted the Deputy Commissioner. Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nahidur Rahman was present at the time.
He also spoke to the OC and other police officers about the ongoing activities of the police and other activities being conducted by them. He called on the police to become more humane and increase the rate of service provided to the people.
