Day-long program organized by DU Quiz Society

A day-long program titled 'DUQS Pop Battle 3.0' was organized by Dhaka University Quiz Society (DUQS) on Saturday at TSC Auditorium.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony. Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani inaugurated the program in the morning.
More than 250 contestants from various educational institutions across the country participated in this pop culture-based event in five segments - BanglaVerse, Multiverse of Heroes, The Detective's Archive, Weeb Wars 2.0 (Anime) and The Ultimate Pop Battle . Participants showcased their knowledge and skills in competitions based on various pop culture topics including films, dramas, music, TV series, TVCs, anime, detective stories, superheroes and video games.
The event was conducted as quiz masters by Rodaba Zaman, Naima Binte Abdullah, Yasir Arafat, Wasi Ahmed, Mohtasin Billah, M. M. Moktadir Toasin, Meher Nigar, Suraiya Setu, Omar Farooq Apurba, Syed Tausif Islam and Mujtaba Rafid.
DUQS President Rodaba Zaman, General Secretary Siam Labib, Vice Presidents Naima Abdullah, Lut Hasan and members of the Executive Committee (EC) were present at the time.
