Day 2 of 4th phase blockade underway

The 2nd day of the 48-hour road, rail, and waterways blockade, enforced by BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and like-minded opposition parties, is underway across the country amid arson attacks.
The ongoing blockade started at 6am on Sunday and will end at 6am on Tuesday.
BNP, Jamaat and like-minded parties announced the blockade programme to press home their demand of holding the next general election under a non-partisan government.
The traffic counting on the street today in Dhaka is more compared to the three previous blockades.
Unidentified miscreants set two buses on fire in the capital’s Tejgaon and Narayanganj's Adamjee EPZ areas on Sunday night.
The Border Guard Bangladesh authorities said they have deployed 189 platoons of the force across the country, including 25 in Dhaka and adjacent districts, to maintain law and order situation.
