
Cyclone, Kalboishakhi, and Heatwaves expected in Spring-Summer

From March to May, the country may experience at least eight days of thunderstorms and hailstorms, along with three days of Kalboishakhi storms and possibly even a cyclone.
During this period, four to seven heatwaves may also sweep across the country. This information has been revealed in the long-term weather forecast for the next three months.
According to the Meteorological Department, overall rainfall in the country is expected to be normal from March to May. Additionally, two to three low-pressure systems may form over the Bay of Bengal, one of which could develop into a depression or a cyclone.
However, during these three months, day and night temperatures are likely to be higher than usual, as reported by the Meteorological Department.
Moreover, during this period, the country may experience four to seven mild (36-37.9°C) or moderate (38-39.1°C) heatwaves and two to four moderate (38-39.9°C) to severe (40-41.1°C) heatwaves, according to the Meteorological Department.
