CPB holds protest rally against Israeli massacre at Gaza in violation of ceasefire, Netaniyahu's arrest demanded

Staff Correspondent

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) held a protest rally and demonstration march at 11 am on Friday to protest the indiscriminate killings carried out by the Zionist Israeli forces in Gaza, Khan Younis and other places in Palestine in violation of the ceasefire conditions. The protest march started from the CPB central office, Mukti Bhaban and went through the National Press Club and circumambulated the main roads of the capital.

CPB President, freedom fighter Mohammad Shah Alam presided over the pre-march protest rally at Purana Paltan intersection in the capital. CPB General Secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince and Central Committee Secretary and Head of International Department Ed. Hasan Tariq Chowdhury spoke respectively. CPB Assistant General Secretary Mihir Ghosh and other central leaders were present at the rally, among others.

CPB President Mohammad Shah Alam said in his speech that the massacre committed by the Israeli forces in Gaza, Palestine, in violation of the ceasefire has once again exposed the naked face of imperialism. This most brutal attack of the century has been carried out with the direct support of US imperialism and in collusion with their Middle Eastern agents. For which US imperialism and its Arab allies must face justice. The people of Bangladesh have always been with the liberation struggle of Palestine and will continue to be with it.

CPB General Secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince said that by violating the ceasefire, the Israeli forces have once again shown their thumbs to world public opinion. No sane person in the world can tolerate such a big crime against humanity. But the United Nations is very sad that it is not playing a proper role in this regard.

He also said that the current interim government should have protested this attack very strongly. But in practice, it has been very responsible.

CPB Editor and Head of International Department Ed. Hasan Tariq Chowdhury said, the International Court of Justice has already ruled that the brutal killings carried out by the Israeli forces in Palestine are genocide. As a result, the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for crimes against humanity is now the demand of the world community. That demand must be implemented.
