Country heading towards confrontational situation: GM Quader
The main opposition in parliament Jatiya Party chairman GM Quader apprehended that the country is heading towards confrontational situation due to political chaos.
“It seems to be that the country is going ahead to a confrontational situation. There is a fear of massive clash due to political excitement,” he said.
The Jatiya Party chief came up with the statement while speaking at a discussion arranged by Madok Protidordh o Kolyan Society at Noor Community Centre in Jatrabari of the capital on Wednesday.
“The two political parties Awami League and BNP stand in such a situation that they have no way to retreat. The party which will retreat from their respective position, will be vanished,” he said.
The Jatiya Party chief lamented that the country couldn’t establish a peaceful power transition system while none want to transfer power.
“Uncertain and conflicting situation is created during the power transition in the country. We don’t want such situation. We do not want EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) in polls,” he added.
