Construction workshop organised in Barishal by Dhalai Special Cement

Opening new horizons in the country’s infrastructure and construction materials sector, Meghna Group of Industries (MGI)’s concern Unique Cement Industries Limited (UCIL) has introduced Bangladesh’s first-ever ‘Dhalai Special Cement’. Specially formulated for roofs, beams, and columns, this effective blended cement marks a revolutionary step in Bangladesh’s construction industry.

In continuation of this milestone, a workshop titled “Build with Confidence, Ensure a Safe Home” was organized with homeowners at Hotel King Fisher in Barishal, spearheaded by Dhalai Special Cement.

The event was graced by Ziarul Islam, DGM (Sales & Marketing); Engineer Bidyut Kumar Banik, AGM (Technical Support & Business Development); and Sanjay Kumar Sarkar, Senior Manager (Sales & Marketing). Also present were Alhaj Md. Abu Taher Hawlader, proprietor of Messrs. Hafiz Iron and Sanitary Store, along with officials from Unique Cement’s Barishal Zone. The event was moderated by Engineer Md. Jewel Rana, Deputy Manager (Technical Support & Business Development).

During the workshop, homeowners shared their positive experiences using Dhalai Special Cement and expressed satisfaction. Speakers stated that Dhalai Special Cement is a unique blended cement combining the strengths of OPC and PCC cements. It gains strength rapidly and ensures long-term durability of structures. It is highly effective for fast and robust construction of roofs, beams, and columns.
