Congress politician Rahul Gandhi alleges phone tapping during US tour

International Desk

India's opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged that his phone is being tapped, not for the first time. During a panel discussion with techies in California, he joked by saying "Hello! Mr Modi" on his iPhone, reports Sputnik News India.

Gandhi stressed the need to establish rules about privacy of data information as a nation and as an individual. He also stated that if a nation-state decides to tap your phone, there's nothing you can do to stop it.

Gandhi is currently on a 10-day visit to the United States, where he will visit San Francisco, Washington DC, and New York City.
