Committee formed to investigate DU teachers involved in secret activities

A 3-member committee has been formed with the university's Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof.Dr. Abdus Salam as the convener to investigate the issues of the teachers of Dhaka University involved in secret anti-state activities, determine what to do and provide necessary recommendations.
The other 2 members of the committee are the Dean of the Faculty of Science and the Dean of the Faculty of Law. This committee will investigate the overall issues of the teachers concerned, determine what to do and provide recommendations. The committee has already started its activities.
It is worth noting that a report published in various media outlets recently regarding the secret activities of 404 teachers from 22 universities of the country to bring back the fugitive convict Sheikh Hasina and activate a banned political party came to the attention of the Dhaka University authorities. The report mentioned that 92 teachers from Dhaka University were involved in secret activities. The names of 58 teachers have already been identified. If the names of any more are identified, the committee will also look into their matters and provide necessary recommendations.
