Coast Guard recovered two firearms with ammunitions in Kutubdia

Bangladesh Coast Guard seized two firearms and four rounds of ammunition and one bandit in two separate raids in Kutubdia on the morning of Wednesday.
Coast Guard Headquarters Media Officer Lt. Md. Siam-ul-Haq confirmed this.
Based on secret information, it is known that a group of robbers is preparing for robbery in Lemsikhali and Ali Akbar Dale areas under Kutubdia upazila. Based on the information received, two special separate operations were conducted in Char area of Nayaghona and Tabal under Kutubdia upazila of Cox's Bazar district from 0100 to 0400 hours on Wednesday, 11 September 2024
Md. Shahriar (34), an active dacoit member, along with one domestic firearms, one single-barreled guns, four rounds of ammunition, 07 knives, 6 chapatis, 21 memory cards, 03 SIM cards, three mobiles and four compasses, used in the operation during the operation. ) Father- Abu Taleb, Village- Nayagona, Thana- Kutubdia, District- Cox's Bazar was able to be detained by the Coast Guard.
The arrested robber along with the seized goods were handed over to Qutubdia police station for further legal action.
