Coast Guard operation : Terrorist arrested with firearms, huge quantity local weapons in Bhola

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard, Bhola South Zone conducted a raid in Bhola Sadar Upazila and arrested a notorious terrorist with firearms and a large quantity of local weapons. During this operation, one firearm and a large quantity of local weapons were recovered from him.
Bhola Coast Guard South Zone Staff Officer (Operations) Lieutenant Commander Rifat Ahmed gave this information at a press briefing at the BGB Base Bhola Kheyaghat office at 11 am on Tuesday.
It was informed by the Coast Guard that for a long time, a terrorist force led by notorious terrorist Md. Raihan Jamil Shuvo had been carrying out other criminal activities including torture, oppression, extortion, land grabbing and intimidation by showing weapons to the local people in the South Dighaldi area under Sadar Upazila of Bhola district.
In this situation, based on secret information, Coast Guard members conducted a special operation in the area adjacent to Dakshin Dighaldi Union under Bhola Sadar Upazila on Tuesday morning and arrested the notorious terrorist Md. Raihan Jamil Shuvo (26) along with 1 domestic firearm, 8 domestic weapons (Ramda), 1 Chinese knife and 6 steel pipes.
The arrested terrorist was handed over to Bhola Sadar Model Police Station along with all the seized evidence.
