Civil Engineers Career Meetup 2025 held

A civil engineers' meetup was held at Aftabnagar playground in Dhaka on Friday at the initiative of Bangladesh Civil Engineers Foundation.
Bangladesh Civil Engineers Foundation President Engineer Shahjahan Kabir presided over the event. Bangladesh Civil Engineers Foundation Secretary Engineer Atiqur Rahman Khan delivered the welcome address.
Eminent Prof Dr. M Shamim Z Basunia was present as the chief guest at the meeting. Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan, Abdur Razzak, Md. Amirul Islam Khan, Major (Retd.) Md. Altamas Karim, Engineer Shahid Hasan Lion, Engineer Benazir Ahmed were present as special guests. Stalls of various companies including National Polymer, Vision 71 Development Limited, Evercare School and College, Sabita Trading, Dhalai Special Cement, First Security Islami Bank PLC, Stone Bricks, ABC Construction Chemical Company Ltd. were present.
Chief Guest Eritors Prof Dr. M Shamim Z Basunia said, Diploma and Graduates are members of one family. Those who have passed Civil Engineering, have to study a lot. They have to make themselves skilled and suitable in the workplace. If you can make yourself qualified, jobs will follow you. He said to make the craftsmen qualified through training with modern technology in building construction.
Rehab Vice President (Finance), Arma Group Chairman Abdur Razzak, Engineer Atiqur Rahman Khan, Major (Retd.) Md. Altamas Karim, Engineer Belal Hossain, Engineer Benazir Ahmed, Engineer Riyad Mahmud, and others also spoke on the occasion.
