Chuadanga recorded country’s lowest temperature 9.8 degrees Celcius

Mild cold has started again in Chuadanga. In this, the frosty wind and severe winter in North Konkan brought a standstill in public life. The minimum temperature recorded in the district was 9.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday (January 2).

Which is the lowest temperature in the country. At that time the air humidity was 95 percent. The First Class Meteorological Office of Chuadanga says that the cold current may continue for the next 3-4 days.

According to the sources of Chuadanga First Class Meteorological Observatory, finally a cold current passed over the district for 3-4 days in the middle of last December. After that, due to the low pressure in the sea, the winter will decrease a little and the temperature will decrease. After that, the rest of the month of December was not so cold. But at the beginning of the English year, the severity of winter increased again. The minimum temperature in the district was 11.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday (January 1).

Meanwhile, the sufferings of the people of this region have increased due to the sudden increase in the severity of winter. All low income professional people are suffering. The working class is not able to work early in the morning due to the severity of winter.

Kajol Chakraborty, an employee of a hotel in Chuadanga city, said, 'I have to come to work in the morning. This winter is very difficult. But you have to work and eat, so there is nothing to do.'

Amjad Hossain, a bird van driver, said, 'It is starting to be a severe winter again. This time the work will be less. There will be no rent, Bapu's people don't go out in winter.'

Tea shopkeeper Mintu Mia said, 'The colder, the more difficult. The trouble is all ours. What is the winter and heat of the poor people? Work will have to be done.'

Private NGO worker Sonalika Biswas said, 'I have to get up early in the morning and go to work at the march stage. It will be difficult in winter.'

Chuadanga Meteorological Office Senior Meteorological Observer Rakibul Hasan said, 'Mild cold flow has started in Chuadanga. Today, Thursday (02 January) at nine o'clock in the morning, the lowest temperature recorded in this district was 9.8 degrees Celsius. Which is the lowest temperature in the country today.'

He also said, 'It is feeling more cold due to the cold wind blowing from the north. The ongoing cold wave may last for the next 3-4 days.'
