Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan said in Rangpur that getting justice is the basic right of people. It is stated in the Constitution that every person, every citizen should get justice from the state. ‘Naykunja’ is a safe haven for litigants and witnesses. ‘Naykunja’ has been created to ease the suffering of people seeking justice in coming to the court. Judge candidates can rest here.

He said this during an exchange of views at the inauguration ceremony of 'Naykunja' rest room for trial candidates and witnesses in Rangpur district judiciary on Thursday morning.

Justice Obaidul Hasan said that the first task of obtaining justice is done by judges. But if the trial candidates are not summoned during the proceedings, then the proceedings are delayed. That's why today's ‘Naykunja’ is the right place if the candidates can sit comfortably. One ‘Naykunja’ is being constructed in each district of the country.

He urged other judges and other judges to work more sincerely to reduce the length of the case. At the end, the Chief Justice visited the different chambers of the judges. Later, the Chief Judicial Magistrate interacted with the judges in the hall room of the court building. The 1,000-square-foot ‘Naykunja’ has 72 separate seating areas for men and women, breastfeeding rooms, separate bathrooms for men and women, food canteens, fresh water and fire-fighting systems. CCTV cameras are used for round-the-clock security.

At that time Supreme Court High Court Division Justice AKM Saifur Rahman, Rangpur Senior District and Session Judge Fazle Khoda Mohammad Nazir, Divisional Labor Court Judge Senior District and Session Judge Fazlul Karim, Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Suruj Mia, District Bar President Advocate Abdul Malek, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mobashwer Hasan, Superintendent of Police Ferdous Ali Chowdhury along with district judiciary judges and lawyers association leaders were present among others.
