CCDB organizes International Women's Day, cheque distribution ceremony for poultry farmers in Muksudpur

On the occasion of International Women's Day-2026 and the distribution of grant assistance checks among poultry farmers, a program was organized by the CCDB-SLPFIVCV project at the Baniarchar Talbari Field Office of Jalirpar Union, Muksudpur Upazila, Gopalganj district on Monday,
As the chief guest at the event, Muksudpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahmud Ashiq Kabir said, "The way CCDB is working for the welfare of the helpless people of this area is certainly worthy of praise." He called on the members to motivate them to pursue technical education in the future. So that they can raise their children in the same way. He also expressed his opinion to closely monitor the work of the members assisted by CCDB.
The event was chaired by CCDB Project Coordinator, Agriculturist Md. Abdul Bari and moderated by Gender and Advocacy Officer Jacqueline Mala Biswas. Muksudpur Livestock Officer Dr. Jahangir Alam, Upazila Social Service Officer Rakibul Hasan Shuvo, Jalirpar Union Parishad Chairman Biva Mandal, Dhaka CCDB Coordinator Ernest Anindya Sarkar, Muksudpur Press Club General Secretary Kazi Md. Ohidul Islam and Joint General Secretary Delwar Hossain were special guests at the event. CCDB Monitoring Officer Tayiba delivered the welcome speech. In addition, duck farming entrepreneur Bhakti Sarkar spoke at the event informing everyone that she has become self-reliant with the help of CCDB grants in the past year. 9 duck farmers were given a grant check of Tk 20,000 each for the purpose of duck farming. It is worth noting that a total of 71,000 taka will be provided to each of the nine duck farmers in stages, said CCDB coordinator agriculturist Md. Abdul Bari.
