Cattle distribution among beggars in Harirampur

Cattle have been distributed among beggars on the occasion of beggar rehabilitation and alternative employment in Harirampur upazila of Manikganj district.
On Monday (February 27) around eleven o'clock eight cows were distributed among the beggars in the upazila for the implementation of beggar rehabilitation and alternative employment in the upazila area under the initiative of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Directorate of Social Services. Each cow is worth fifty thousand rupees.
Harirampur Upazila Parishad Chairman Dewan Saidur Rahman, Upazila Executive Officer Md Shahriar Rahman, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Tapshi Rabeya, Upazila Social Service Officer Md Ayub Ali were present in the distribution ceremony, Upazila Agriculture Officer Abdul Ghaffar, Upazila Fisheries Officer SaifurRahman, Upazila Awami League President Golzar Hossain Bachchu, former vice chairman of upazila parishad Abul Basar Sabuj, upazila administration and chairman of various unions and others were present.
