The implementation of the disaster management and relief ministry's program on "Creation of Golden Bangla" is ongoing.

This ministry has been working on various projects since 2012. In the last fiscal year 2022-23, the allocation for the entire country was 19 crores which increased to 26 corers in 2023-24.

There are 70 thousand 621 beneficiaries in Rajshahi alone. Chief Guest Lutfun Nahar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief said that all the ministries are working together to bring back the restoration of all levels of the country under the current government.

In the upazila meeting room on Sunday morning, the Disaster Management and Relief Ministry and the Charghat upazila administration organized a meeting for the participation of the participants for the establishment of the National Sanitation Strategy Action Plan 2023-24 Sushan. In his speech, the upazila chairman said, how long will he live to get his hand? This country is going towards disaster. Why should people in developed countries expect government handouts? The country should be taken forward through employment.

Parliamentarians of the country are enacting laws on why they will work with various allocations. He demanded from the joint secretary that if the upazila and union chairmen work with the government allocation, it will be possible to implement many small and big projects at the local level.

Compared to the current development of the country, this upazila is far behind. Being a border region of India, the number of drug dealers and users is high. The number of poor people is also high due to the Padma river basin area. Above all the locals of the area depend on agriculture. Finally, upazila executive officer Saida Khanam has demanded an increase in the amount of allocation for Charghat upazila.
