Canal re-excavation inaugurated in Kalia

The re-excavation work of Parokhali canal in Kalabaria union of Naragati police station in Kalia upazila in Narail was inaugurated through prayers and supplications.
The prayers were conducted by A. Samad Liton, Ameer of Jamaat of Terkhada 5 No Union on Monday at 10 am.
Dipankar Kumar Das, Sub-Divisional Engineer, Narail Water Development Board inaugurated the re-excavation work of 2.250 km of Parokhali canal in Kalabaria union of Kalia upazila.
Md. Sayem Rashed, Deputy Assistant Engineer, Kalia Water Development Branch, Bapaubo, Narail. Anisur Rahman Mollah, Executive Officer, Narail Water Development Sub-Division, Bapaubo, Narail, UNO SM Babul Akhter, Deputy Assistant Land Officer, Kalabaria Union, Journalist Golam Rabbani were present.
Md. Faruk Sardar, Organizing Secretary of Krishak Dal of Kalabaria Union, Amir of Jamaat in Ward No. 7 of Kalabaria Union, Md. Ismail Sardar, Al Mamun, Ataur Rahman Mollah, Yusuf Mollah, Shahid Mollah, local individuals and representatives of the contractor were also present.
