It is like a force that belongs to him. A complaint has been raised against the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Kurigram for forcibly constructing a bridge on privately owned land without acquiring it. Repeated complaints were not addressed.

On the contrary, the authorities have continued the construction of the bridge by fearing lawsuits and attacks. Rezaul Karim, the owner of the land, has written a complaint to the Kurigram District Commissioner.

It can be seen from the surface, the construction of the connection bridge of Patrakhata village has started in Ward No. 9 of Ramna Union of Chilmari Upazila of Kurigram. According to complained to the Executive Engineer of LGED, about this several times at the beginning of the construction of the bridge, but it did not work. When the last written application was made to the Deputy Commissioner, on July 31, he said that action would be taken after investigation. Later Chilmari Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Upazila Chairman of Tatkali investigated the truth of the complaint. The owner of the land said that there was no solution.

Rezaul Karim, the owner of the land said, I went to Kurigram once and talked to the executive engineer. He also said that he will take action by acquiring the land. But even though the construction of the bridge has started, they have not done any land acquisition or compensation till now. He also said that none of the mandatory rules and guidelines to be followed as per the Land Acquisition Act have been followed.

Construction of this bridge without acquisition of my land is completely illegal and illegal. For this, I humbly request to start the construction work on the private land next to the bridge with the demand of punishment for all the chief executive officers involved in the construction of the bridge through design formulation, tender call and Torzo without land acquisition.
