Body of unidentified youth recovered from mango orchard in Bhuapur

Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth (22) from a mango orchard adjacent to Bangabandhu Setu Westside in Tangail on Saturday.
The body was recovered from Char Pathail Kandi village of Nikrail Union of Bhuapur Upazila on Saturday (November 26) evening.
Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Bangabandhu Bridge East Police Station Safiqul Islam said that the locals reported the hanging body of an unidentified youth in a mango orchard on the north side of the roundabout on the east side of Bangabandhu Bridge.
Later, the body was recovered and sent to Tangail General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
He also said that there was no sign of injury on the body. Whether the young man committed suicide or someone killed him, the details will be known after the post-mortem.
Identification is being attempted. A case of wrongful death has been registered at the police station.
