Body of missing boy recovered from River Titas

Some 20 to 25 bodies were burnt when a group of young men held a DJs party in Gomti river with a launch at Titas in Cumilla on Tuesday.
The incident took place at around 11:30 pm on the east side of Darikandi Bridge in the upazila.
The injured were rescued by fishermen and locals in the river and after first aid at Gauripur Health Complex in Daudkandi, they were sent to Dhaka Burn Unit for better treatment.
However, a 10-year-old boy was missing yesterday.
The body of the missing teenager Shamim (10), father-CNG driver Abdul Matin, was found floating in the river on the morning of August 24 in village Shibpur At night.
Titas Upazila Nirbahi Officer Moshammat Rasheda Akhter, Titas Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sudhin Chandra Das and Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md Farhasad Ahmed Fakir visited the accident site.
