Boalkhali Press Club holds Doa Mahfil for Begum Khaleda Zia's death

As part of the national mourning, a memorial service and Doa Mahfil was organised by Boalkhali Press Club at the death of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
On Friday afternoon, the event was chaired by President Md. Sirajul Islam and the main speaker at the memorial service and Doa Mahfil was Lokman Chowdhury, former President of Boalkhali Press Club.
Boalkhali Press Club General Secretary Yasin Chowdhury conducted the prayer mahfil, in which the executive members of the press club Adhir Barua, Emran Chowdhury, organizing secretary Syed Md. Nazrul Islam, finance secretary Prabash Chakraborty, office secretary S.M. Nayeem Uddin, Touhidur Rahman, Khorshed Alam, Shaha Alam Bablu delivered commemorative speeches in tribute to Begum Khaleda Zia.
Abdul Matin Chowdhury Ripon, Sumon Chakraborty, Biplab Das, Munir Chowdhury, Tajul Islam, Shahed Hossain Choton, M R Touhid and others were present at the time.
In the prayer mahfil, Maulana Badiul Alam, the Imam of Jalil Bhandar Jame Mosque, led a special prayer for the welfare of the country, nation and democracy, in addition to praying for the forgiveness of the soul of the late Begum Khaleda Zia, a three-time former Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
