BNP delegation meeting with Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen in Ctg

A delegation from the Chinese Embassy held a meeting with the central and local leaders of BNP in Chittagong.
The meeting was held at Chittagong Hotel Radisson Blue Bay View on Friday evening.
The Chinese delegation included Yao Wen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Government of the People's Republic of China to Bangladesh and senior officials of the embassy.
Among the BNP leaders were BNP Chairperson's advisor and North District BNP Convenor Golam Akbar Khondkar, Chittagong Divisional Organizing Secretary of BNP National Executive Committee Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, Joint Organizing Secretary and Special Assistant to BNP Chairpersons Foreign Affairs Advisory CommitteeMember Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, Chittagong Metropolitan BNP Convener Alhaj Ershad Ullah and Member Secretary Nazimur Rahman, North District BNP Senior Joint Convener MA Halim, South District Jubo Dal President Mohammad Shahjahan and Volunteer Dal Convener Manzoor Alam Talukder.
In the meeting, there was an hour-long discussion on the ongoing political and contemporary issues of the country, and what to do in the future. Besides, the meeting also discussed strengthening bilateral relations with Communist Party of China and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
During this time, the contribution of martyred President Ziaur Rahman in establishing friendly relations between China and Bangladesh was also remembered.
