Hindu community in Muradnagar upazila in Cumilla formed a huge human chain demanding withdrawal of false case against BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and five-time former MP of Cumilla-3 (Muradnagar) Constituency, former Minister of State for Religion and BNP Vice Chairman Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaykobad on Saturday.

They also demanded scrapping of the farce judgment of the dictatorial government to create an environment for them to come home.

The human chain organized for their beloved leader turned into a 2 -km long .The participants in the human chain threatened to protest if the cases of Tariq Rahman and Kaykobad were not withdrawn immediately.

On Saturday morning, from Allahu Chattar of Upazila Sadar, the human chain was spread over a distance of about two kilometers including Companyganj Road, Thana Road, Ramchandrapur Road and Homna Road.

Calling upon the interim government to withdraw the false case of Tarek Rahman and Kaykobad and bring them back to the country immediately, the speakers said that in the case of grenade attack on August 21, 2004, Tarek Rahman and Kaykobad Dada were accused for the second time during the tenure of the Awami League government.

Supplementary charge sheet is given.No evidence or any witnesses were found against Kaykobad Dada in the case!After that, Awami League jailed Tarek Rahman and Kaykobad Dada in the judgment of thefarceof the fascist government. The speakers also said, 'Muradnagar Upazila BNP-organization and students-people have been struggling for 17 years against the fascist government for democracy.

Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaykobad, Vice Chairman of BNP has led this struggle uninterruptedly.He led Muradnagar in the movement against the fascist government even from a distance of thousands of miles. Dulal Debnath, Arup Narayan Pauddar Pingku, Anjan Roy, Deen Dayal Pal, Prof. Nitanand Roy, Dayanand Tagore, Ratan Das, Pranjit Kumar Majumder, Shankar Roy, Gaurang Bay Nath and others spoke at the human chain.
