Staff Correspondent

In collaboration with Uttara University School of Business Administration, national business studies related organization Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB) organized the Uttara University presents "9th Bangladesh International Youth Awards (BIYA) - 2025" on February 27, 2025, at Uttara University's Multipurpose Hall. The event was sponsored by Ideal Foods and powered by Dekko Foods Ltd. The event's event management partner was the Federation of Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management (FoHTEM), while the debate management partner was Bangladesh Debate Warriors - BDW.

In front of the judges, students from Bangladeshi schools, colleges, and universities showcased their business ideas, public speeches, video resumes, game shows, cultural performances, and more, as is customary.

The judges came from a variety of backgrounds and occupations. Workshops on skill development, a career planning seminar, a question-and-answer session, a skill test, a live discussion show, a multimedia presentation, an award ceremony, and other events were held.

M A Nahiyan, the program's Chief Organizer and Chairman of the Federation of Hospitality, Tourism & Event Management (FoHTEM) and Business Genius Bangladesh (BGB), gave the welcoming address and led the program's briefing.

Prof. Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Vice Chancellor of Uttara University was the Chief Guest during the Grand Opening Ceremony. AKM Zabed, COO, Dekko Foods Ltd. was the Chief Guest during the Closing Ceremony.

Mohammad Mofassel Haque, Business Director, T.K.
