Betagi's illustrated son Arif Hossain selected in judicial cadre

Md. Arif Hossain, an illustrated son of Betagi Upazila of Barguna has been recommended for appointment as a Civil Judge/Judicial Magistrate in the 18th Bangladesh Judicial Service (BJS) examination.
At the same time, he has also been recommended for the post of Court Inspector of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). His success is being praised in the area for achieving success in multiple competitive recruitment processes.
Md. Arif Hossain is the eldest son of Md. Abu Hanif Akon and Mosa. Taslima Begum of Dakshin Chopkhali village of Hosnabad union of Betagi upazila. He is currently working as a Senior Officer (Law) at Sonali Bank PLC. He is also listed as a member of Dhaka District Bar Association.
During his education, Arif Hossain received scholarships in the fifth and eighth grades. Later, he completed his higher secondary education with a GPA-5 from the science department of Chopkhali Secondary School and the science department of Betagi Degree College. After that, he obtained LLB and LLM degrees from the law department of Jagannath University.
Later, he joined the legal profession and prepared for the judicial examination. Through continuous study and preparation, he achieved success in the 18th BJS examination. He ranked 126th out of a total of 200 in the 18th BJS examination.
Md. Arif Hossain said, "I am extremely grateful to Allah Almighty for this achievement. The love, prayers and support of my parents, teachers, relatives, friends and well-wishers have always inspired me on my path."
