Benazir procures 7 passports through forgery

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has found seven passports of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed.
A deputy director of the ACC and his team questioned eight officials of the Department of Passport and Immigration at about 11:30am on Tuesday regarding the allegation of procuring a number of international passports through unprecedented forgery in connivance with passport officials.
ACC Deputy Director Anwar Hossain and his team questioned four directors, a deputy director and two deputy assistant directors of the Department of Passport and Immigration at Agargaon in the capital for their alleged involvement in the scam.
According to ACC sources, some of the seven passport numbers of Benazir are: E0017616, AA1073252, BC0111070, BM0828141 and 800002095. He also has two other passports.
There are allegations that Benazir concealed his identity of police in passports. From the beginning, he has not so far used blue-colour official passport. Besides, he did not procure red passport though he had that opportunity. He even adopted unprecedented forgery to make ordinary passports.
