BCC fines Kazi Farms Tk 5cr, Suguna Foods Tk 3.44cr for destabilising egg market

The Bangladesh Competition Commission on Monday fined Kazi Farms Tk 5 crore and Suguna Foods Bangladesh Limited Tk 3.44 crore for breaching Section 15 of the Competition Commission Act.
In September 2022, the Competition Commission also filed a case against CP, Paragon, Kazi, Diamond Egg, and Tejgaon Egg Traders Association President Md. Amanat Ullah for destabilising the egg market.
BCC Chairperson Pradip Ranjan Chakraborty confirmed the information while talking to the Daily Sun this evening.
