BARI workshop held

The workshop between the expert panel of the Ministry of Agriculture and the senior scientists of Bari (today 20th April, 2024). at Director General conference room.This expert panel was formed by the Ministry of Agriculture to improve the quality of 6 research institutes listed in Schedule 'A' of the National Agricultural Research System.
BARI Director General Dr. Debasish Sarker gave a welcome address at DG's conference room. Former Secretary and former Executive chairman of BARC. Z. Karim; The former Director General of BRRI. NI Bhuiyan; BSMRAU's retired professor Dr. Abdul Hamid; DAE former Director General. Rahim Uddin Ahmed; BARI's former Director General Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman; BARI's former director (planning and evaluation). Syed Nurul Alam; BARC Member Director (grains). Md. Abdus Salam; Member Director of BARC (TTMU). Suraiya Parveen; BARI’s Director (Training and communication) Dr. Md.Tariqul Islam, Director (Support & Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam; Director (Research) Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond; Director (Horticulture Research Centre) Dr. Munshi Rashid Ahmad; Director (Planning and Evaluation) Dr. Md. Abu Hena Sorwar Jahan, Director (Director General's office) Dr. M M Kamrozzaman, Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman and Director (Puls Research Center) Dr. Md. saleh Uddin were present on the occasion. Senior scientists from different Centers/Divisions of BARI were present there also.
In the workshop, various issues were discussed regarding the overall development of BARI.
