Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has refused US Awami League Executive Member Hindal Qadir Bappa's allegations against the existing President of US Awami League Dr. Siddiqur Rahman during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's exchange of floral greetings with expatriate Awami League leaders and activists at Ganabhaban on Tuesday.

Several eyewitnesses said that when the Prime Minister was receiving floral greetings from expatriate Awami League leaders and activists from various countries in a joyful atmosphere, Bappa, an Executive Member of the United States Awami League, complained to the Prime Minister that President Dr. Siddiqur Rahman had given a show -cause notice to some people including him .

The Prime Minister scolded him and said that he had given the notice because he had done the work of the notice. She asked not to talk about it.

After that, a senior joint general secretary on his side wanted to talk in favour , but sensing the situation he stood beside Dr. Siddiqur Rahman and greeted prime minister with floral ereaths . It is also learnt that some other leaders and activists changed their position after realising the Prime Minister's attitude.

This incident immediately spread among the Awami League leaders of other countries, including the leaders and activists of the United States Awami League present in the Ganabhaban.

Dr. Siddiqur Rahman has admitted the fact of this incident and it was not possible to get the statement of Hindal Quadir Bappa in this regard. He could not be reached for comment through Facebook Messenger.
