Banks asked to freeze accounts of Summit Group chairman Mohammad Aziz

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has directed all banks to freeze accounts belonging to Summit Group chairman Mohammad Aziz, along with his 10 family members.
Banks were also instructed to suspend transactions across these personal accounts for an initial period of 30 days, according to a letter.
The BFIU requested an update on the status of these accounts.
