Bangladesh receives $476.27 million from IMF

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released $476.27 million to Bangladesh as the first instalment of $4.7 billion loan it approved early this week.

Md Mezbaul Haque, spokesperson of Bangladesh Bank, confirmed the news.

The amount has already been deposited to Bangladesh Bank.

With this, the country's foreign exchange reserves stands at $32.69 billion, up from $32.19 billion.
