Bangladesh can establish strong position in world if it can produce skilled nurses::Barguna Dist Council Administrator

:A little beautiful smile and a little beautiful behavior; which is the key to recovery for a patient. A doctor only shows the way to recovery. Those who hold hands on that path are nurses. And this profession is one of the other professions. If you can develop yourself as a skilled person in this profession, you will be able to present yourself in a good place, just as Bangladesh will have a strong position in the world.
 
Barguna District Council Administrator Md. Nazrul Islam Mollah said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the "Job Fair" program for the final year students of the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses of Barguna Nursing Institute under the ASSET project at the Municipal Complex adjacent to Barguna General Hospital on Tuesday  at around 11 am, organized by the Barguna Nursing Institute and funded by the World Bank.
 
Meanwhile, Barguna Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Abul Fattah said in his speech that private clinics and hospitals should be aware of the need to appoint registered nurses in all private hospitals instead of hiring trained nurses. He also urged them to be vigilant to prevent any untoward incidents.
 
Special guests at the 'Job Fair' program included Barguna Civil Surgeon Dr. Mohammad Abul Fattah, former senior vice-president of the district BNP A,Z,M Saleh Faruk, president of the district Krishak Dal Md. Masudur Rahman Mansu, district president of the Bangladesh Private Hospital and Diagnostic Owners Association Saleh Mahmud Sumon Sharif and general secretary Muha. Abu Hasan, and president of the Barguna Press Club Hafizur Rahman.
 
The event was chaired by Maryam Akhter Khatun, Instructor-in-Charge of Barguna Nursing Institute and IDG Manager of ASSET Project, Shaon Mutait, Lecturer of the Department of Microbiology and Pharmacology of Barguna Nursing Institute, and Zakia Parveen, Senior Staff Nurse of the 250-bed Barguna General Hospital.
 
At the end of the program, nursing students displayed their biodata through a stall. The people in charge of Bangladesh Private Hospital and Diagnostic Owners Association, Barguna District Branch also assured them of providing jobs by prioritizing their skills as much as possible.
