Bail petition rejected : Chinmoy Krishna Das sent to jail in sedition case

The spokesperson of the Sanatani Jagaran Jote, Chinmoy Krishna Das was presented before the court under tight security at 10 a.m. today. He was arrested yesterday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. from Dhaka Airport.
Chinmoy Krishna Das, has been sent to jail following the directives of the Chattogram court in a sedition case.
On Tuesday (November 26), Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate of the 6th Court, Kazi Shariful Islam, rejected his bail petition.
Advocate Saurav Kanti Das, Chinmoy’s lawyer, stated that they are preparing to appeal the bail rejection in the higher court.
Following Chinmoy's arrest, his supporters gathered in front of the court premises this morning, demanding his release. Their protests prompted additional deployment of BGB and police personnel to strengthen security.
The case has drawn significant attention, and all eyes are now on the higher court's decision.
