A baby stolen was allegedly from Rajshahi Medical College (RMCH) hospital. The child's father's name is Suman Mia. His house is in Tambulpur village of Pirgacha upazila of Rangpur. Suman's wife's name is Moni Khatun (18). His father's house is in Gokulnagar village of Ishwardi upazila of Pabna. On October 4, Monique was admitted to Ward No. 22 of Ramek Hospital for delivery. Then last Sunday, Moni Khatun gave birth to a boy.

However, on Wednesday afternoon, the newborn's grandparents went to Rajpara Police Station to file a case regarding the child's theft. Thana police detained Nana and Nani as their behavior was 'suspicious'. The child's grandparents were at the police station all night for their interrogation. They were not released until noon on Thursday.

According to hospital sources, the baby's birth weight was less than normal. For this the child was shifted to 26 number wards.

An unidentified woman while wearing a mask asked the child's mother about the well-being of the child on Wednesday. Then the child's mother told the woman about the child's problem. The woman assures him that there is a good doctor in a clinic outside. If he shows up there, his child will get better. When the grandmother of the newborn was told about this, she kept contacting the woman for the child's well-being.

Moni Khatun said that the woman assured her mother that they volunteered to help the children with treatment and money. Around 4 pm on Wednesday, his mother Rumi Begum took the child in her arms and said to the child's mother, "The child is feeling hot." Let's get some air from outside.' Saying this, he took his son outside and gave him to the unknown woman. Since then, the child has not been found.

Rajpara police station OC Ashraful Islam told on Thursday afternoon that the baby maternal grandfather Hasan Ali and grandmother Rumi Begum went to Rajpara police station to complain about the matter on Wednesday night.

The police detained them as their talk was suspicious. In this connection a footage has been collected. The Police is working to rescue the child.
